Scotland's First Cocktail Bar Specialising in Mexican Spirits!

We took the tram down to The Shore and, within a minute's walk, we arrived at Chancho- a modern cocktail bar with a passion for Mexican spirits.


Upon arrival, we were greeted by Rachel, the owner of Chancho. As Scotland’s first agave bar, Chancho specialises in a diverse array of Mexican spirits, featuring Tequila, Mezcal, Racilla, Bacanora, and Sotol.


Here's what we experienced...

Rachel began our tasting journey with their two most popular cocktails: the Yuzu Margarita and the Picante Cocktail. We then explored their non-alcoholic offerings, sampling the refreshing Tommy No and Pineapple Ricky-each a delightful surprise.


As we sipped and enjoyed a selection of pretzels, cheeses, and olives, Rachel shared intriguing insights into agave and her impressive journey in the industry, highlighted by her currently working on her certification with the Agave Spirits Institute.
