Girl Grads Membership Terms & Conditions

Introduction


These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Membership issued by Girl Grads ("we", "our", "us"). By purchasing or using the Membership Card, you ("Member", "you", "your") agree to abide by these Terms.

Membership Overview


The Membership Card grants the Member exclusive benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Early access to event tickets

  • Access to both member event prices

  • Discounts and offers at participating businesses in Edinburgh

  • Other promotional offers as specified by Girl Grads

 

Membership Fee


The Membership is available for a fee of £30 per year, which is non-refundable once paid.The Membership will automatically renew on an annual basis unless cancelled by you before the renewal date. If you do not wish to continue the Membership, you must cancel it before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the following year. Girl Grads reserves the right to review the fee price on an annual basis.

Early Access to Event Tickets


As a Member, you will receive early access to tickets for events hosted by Girl Grads. Early access may include priority booking, a specified booking window, or the ability to purchase tickets before the general public. The specific details will be communicated prior to each event.

 

Event Pricing


Members will receive special pricing for certain events, in contrast to non-member prices. Member pricing and offers may vary by event and are subject to availability and event-specific terms.

 

Discounts and Offers at Participating Businesses


The Membership may include discounts and offers at participating businesses in Edinburgh. These offers may change throughout the year, and some businesses may be added or removed from the membership program at any time. Girl Grads does not guarantee the availability of any specific discount or offer at any particular time.

 

Non-Refundable Membership


All Membership fees are non-refundable. Once the Membership is purchased, no refunds will be issued, regardless of the circumstances, including cancellation of events or changes to the offers or participating businesses. 

 

Changes to Business Participation


The businesses participating in the Membership Card program may change over time. Girl Grads reserves the right to add or remove businesses, offers, and discounts at any time, without notice. While we will make efforts to keep Members informed about these changes, we do not guarantee the continued participation of any business in the program.

 

Termination of Membership


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Membership at our discretion if you violate any of these Terms or engage in inappropriate behavior. In the event of termination, no refund will be issued.

 

Liability Disclaimer


Girl Grads shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use or inability to use the Membership Card, including but not limited to losses related to event cancellations or changes to discounts or offers.

 

Data Protection and GDPR Compliance


We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Collection: When you sign up for the Membership, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, and payment details. This information is required to process your Membership and provide you with the benefits of the program.

Data Use: We use your personal data to manage your Membership, process payments, communicate with you about events, offers, and other Membership-related matters, and improve the services we offer. 

Data Sharing: We do not share your personal information with third parties, except for the purpose of processing payments or where required by law. We may share your data with Wix, the platform on which our website is hosted, in accordance with Wix's privacy policy and for the purpose of managing your Membership.

Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw consent for any marketing communications at any time. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@girlgrads.com.

Data Retention: We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

By using our Membership Card, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described above. Girl Grads is registered with the ICO. You can find more details of our privacy policy on our Privacy Policy page. 

 

Changes to Terms


We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any updates to the Terms will be posted on our website or communicated to Members via email or other appropriate means. Continued use of the Membership Card after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Business Terms & Conditions

A Wee Taste

  • A 10% discount is available exclusively on food items in the bistro.

  • To redeem the discount, customers must present their valid discount card to a server before paying.

  • The discount is not applicable to drinks, events, private hires, or online services.

  • This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other promotions or offers.

Basement Gelato

  • A 15% discount is available

  • To redeem the discount, customers must present their valid Girl Grads membership to a server before paying

Maki & Ramen

  • Customers can receive 20% off their total bill at any Maki & Ramen branch across the UK by showing their active subscription to a member of staff.

  • The discount is not valid on alcoholic beverages.

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions.

Up and Running

  • A 15% discount is available in-store only at the Edinburgh branch for GG members.

  • To redeem the discount, customers must inform staff they are a GG member and provide proof of membership.

  • This offer is not valid for online purchases or at other store locations.

  • The discount excludes already reduced items and technology products (e.g., watches, headphones etc).

  • Offer cannot be used in combination with any other promotions.

Yoga Shala

  • A 10% discount is available on a 60 minute mat classes scheduled Monday through Sunday.

  • The discount is limited to one class per person per day.

  • It is not valid for workshops, events, or community practices.

  • This offer is exclusively for Girl Grads members and is non-transferable.

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions.

Chancho

  • GG members receive 10% off food and drink Sunday to Friday at Chancho 

  • The discount is valid for groups of up to 6 people maximum. Please note for parties of 6 a 10% service charge will be added to the bill

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, or offers.

  • Discount must be mentioned or shown to staff before payment.

  • Offer valid for Girl Grads members only and requires proof of membership.

Alex McQuaid hair

  • Receive a complimentary Kérastase Gloss Treatment (worth £10) with any wash, haircut, and blow-dry service.

  • Receive a complimentary Olaplex Treatment (worth £30) with a full head of highlights or full head balayage.

  • Offers are valid for one-time use per client only and you must show proof of your GG membership.

  • Appointments must be booked directly via Instagram, WhatsApp, or Messenger.

  • New clients booking blonde services must arrange a consultation and patch test before their appointment.

  • Offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Tallie Lagree Fitness Studio

  • New users receive 30% off the first month of any Tallie membership tier (4, 8, 12 monthly, or unlimited).

  • To redeem, users must create an account on the Tallie app, add the discount to their basket, and enter the code at checkout.

  • All memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment.

  • Additional studio policy terms and conditions apply and are available for review on the app at the time of purchase.

  • This offer is for new members only and cannot be combined with other promotions.

Hotpod Yoga

  • Offer 1: Free First Class

    • New customers who have not previously attended Hotpod Yoga are eligible for one free class.

    • To redeem, create an account on the Hotpod Yoga platform, select a Single Class Pass, and enter the discount code at checkout to remove the cost.

    • Valid for use at Hotpod Yoga Edinburgh only.

    • The code is valid for one billing cycle and can be used once per customer.

    • Offer valid from 04/04/2025 through 01/05/2026.

    • This offer is non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts.

  • Offer 2: 15% Off Rolling Discount

    • A rolling 15% discount is available on any class passes or memberships for returning customers.

    • The discount can be applied once per customer at Hotpod Yoga Edinburgh.

    • Valid for any customer looking to attend regularly.

    • The offer is valid from 04/04/2025 through 01/05/2026.

    • Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.

    • This discount is for individual use only and is non-transferable.

Bodysmart Physio

  • 10% off Initial Assessment and 10% off Running Assessment are available exclusively for GG members.

  • Each discount is valid for one-time use only per customer.

  • To redeem the offer, customers must book their appointment via telephone and quote the code during the booking process.

  • The 10% discount will be manually applied to the invoice at the clinic, and payment will be taken on arrival.

  • Customers must present proof of GG membership at their appointment.

  • This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

  • Valid for in-clinic appointments only.

  • GG members receive a 10% discount off food and drink and 20% off coffee

  • To redeem the discount, customers must show proof of active GG membership at the time of ordering.

Mardy Bum Active Club

  • GG members receive a 20% discount on website orders

  • To redeem the discount, GG members should input the code during online checkout

Tribe

  • Girl Grads (GG) members are eligible for 10% off all class packs (1, 5, and 10 class packs) and merchandise (including bottles, tote bags, blocks, etc).

  • To redeem, enter the code at checkout when purchasing online, via the app, or in-studio.

  • If redeeming the discount in-person, clients must present proof of GG membership

  • This offer cannot be combined with other Tribe discounts or promotions

  • The code is valid for multiple uses per GG member, but is strictly for GG members only and must not be shared outside the organisation.

  • The discount cannot be applied to memberships, workshops, or other services outside class packs and merch.

Brewhemia

  • Girl Grads (GG) members receive a 10% discount on any food and drink ordered at Brewhemia.

  • The discount is valid daily but applies to one guest only per visit.

  • This offer does not apply to pre-packaged or ticketed events, such as Drag Brunches, Christmas Party Nights, or similar special events.

  • GG members must present proof of active membership when ordering to redeem the discount.

Signature Group

  • GG members receive 20% off food and drink at any participating Signature Group venue (see full list below).

  • The discount is valid for groups of up to 6 people maximum.

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, or offers.

  • Discount must be mentioned or shown to staff before payment.

  • Offer valid for Girl Grads members only and requires proof of membership.
