Our First Ever Girl Grads Event in Glasgow🌿🧘‍♀️

On Saturday 7th June 2025, we held our very first Girl Grads event in Glasgow. 


The event began with a run along the River Clyde, winding through Glasgow Green, and finishing at HotPod Yoga Glasgow. Once there, we rolled out our mats and flowed through an energising hour-long hot yoga class led by Casey. The session started with calming breathwork, moved into strength-based movements, and finished with balance poses, including some strong (and fun!) attempts at the crow poses. We then wrapped up the event with chats and goodies from Jnck Bakery, Boundless and Cano Water. 


Why Hot Yoga After Running?


Practising yoga in heated conditions is particularly effective after a run. The heat helps muscles stretch more deeply, reducing the risk of injury and enhancing flexibility.


Hot yoga is also beneficial as it boosts blood circulation, supports detoxification through sweat, and increases your range of motion - which all help the body recover faster and feel refreshed afterwards.
